Accountex London is returning next month, on 15-16 May 2024. London’s ExCeL is expected to welcome over ten thousand accounting and finance professionals through its doors.
The final two main stage programmes (Orbit and Horizon) have just been announced, and include sessions on everything from MTD for ITSA to personal branding.
Visitors will get actionable advice and stay up-to-date from CPD-accredited seminar programme, that includes over 250 seminars by thought-leaders from the accountancy world and beyond.

Dive into the world of tax
Accountex regular Rebecca Benneyworth will be returning to the stage to dive into all things tax, with the session ‘Current topical tax issues’. Rebecca will take visitors on a whistle stop tour of key issues and changes, together with the practical implications and advice prompts for clients.
Also delving into the world of tax is Sharon Cooke, Tax Technical Director from 20:20 Innovation, as she highlights her ‘Top 10 tax considerations for 2024/25’, which will include practical pointers and key takeaways.
Empower and motivate
After the success of his session at Accountex Summit Manchester, Richard McCann is presenting ‘Audit your mindset: overcoming challenges with the power of ‘iCan’. Here he will draw from his personal journey of healing and growth. The presentation promises to empower audiences, with invaluable insights and practical strategies to conquer challenges and achieve success.
Steve Judge, Achievement Catalyst at i.Nspire, will be hosting the seminar ‘Good to Gold – achieve the life that you want to live’. Steve will share his journey that took him from wheelchair to world champion and beyond.
Technology and Practice
The Accountex team are excited to welcome first time speaker Mhari Aitken, Ethics Fellow at The Alan Turing Institute, to the show for the session ‘Addressing the Real Risks of AI.’ The talk promises to cut through the noise surrounding AI, and will set out what the real risks are, and how to address them.
Billie Mcloughlin, Practice Consultant/Chair Person of Tech Talk and David Norris, Technical Director, 20:20 Innovation will be delivering the seminar ‘The modern accountancy practice and how to get there’. The pair will consider what the most progressive firms are doing and the keys to their success.
Coming from Dubai for Accountex, Jeri Williams, CEO at Accountants Wealth Academy is delivering the session ‘How I scaled my firms to 7 figures and stepped away from running them’. Attendees will hear Jeri’s story and learn the actionable steps she took to scale efficiently and delegate effectively, empowering her to achieve financial success while reclaiming her autonomy.
Tax and the future
Former Chancellor of the Exchequer 2016-2019 and RCK Senior Advisor, Lord Philip Hammond, will be hosting the seminar ‘Forward look – what the future looks like for the UK economy and public finances’. Philip will explore future threats and opportunities for the economy, as well as the part the tax system can play in delivering the solutions.
