Employment Hero acquisition enables world’s first fully automated payroll solution

Global employment management and payroll platform, Employment Hero, has announced the acquisition of Employment Innovations, one of the largest managed payroll providers in the world.

Through this strategic acquisition, Employment Hero, who were the first technology company to offer automated payroll in the UK, will provide a service that streamlines the entire payroll process, meaning accountants and bookkeepers are able to spend less time running payroll and more time providing analysis and advice to their clients.

Processing wages is cited as one of the most time-costly processes with the majority of pay runs regularly taking up to a week to complete*. Pay runs that previously took days or weeks will happen instantaneously, and will be devoid of errors. They can be completed with full visibility with dedicated payroll experts on-hand to handle everything, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

AI and automation will do the heavy lifting, allowing humans to put their skills to more valuable work. For accountants and bookkeepers this might include helping their clients make sense of their payroll, or gathering insights to guide them towards data-led decisions on the future of their business.
