There are many good lawyers out there and I’m sure you will be well served by whoever you choose.
I do have a lot of experience and am knowledgeable in the law, but most lawyers are.
Probably what sets me apart is that I tend to do things a bit differently than other lawyers. In the Elder Law situation, it tends to be a very difficult and emotional time. Grandma is in crisis or some difficult event has occurred.
I try to be compassionate and empathetic and not just address the law, but help the family with all its issues, emotions and family dynamics.
You know, I lost my dad recently and we have been helping mom through her issues. She moved from her house of 50 years into independent living and then into Assisted Living.
She developed some very difficult health issues. All of this has been very tough on both her and us, her children…. and I have it easy because I have 5 brothers and sisters to help.
Bottom line, I know what you are going through and I understand how difficult it is. I’ll help you work through all the issues; legal, financial, practical and emotional. I’ll do my best to help in a compassionate and empathetic way.
