Sustainability Zone launching at Accountex

Accountex London is excited to announce the launch of the Sustainability Zone, sponsored by Sage. It will be hosted by James Lizars, Founder of Thrive Accountants;  Laura Gelder-Robertson, Assessor at Cambridge University’s Institute for Sustainable Leadership and Conrad Langridge, Marketing Manager at Sage Earth and other sustainability superheroes from the industry.

Visitors will have the opportunity to ask the team about:

– How Accountants can be Sustainability Superheroes

– How Net Zero impacts small businesses

– How businesses can kickstart their Sustainability journeys

– How to become a B Corp

The team will be on hand to guide visitors on best practice tips and tools to kickstart their sustainability journeys. They will also be joined by Sage who can answer questions about how they are helping SMBs get to Net Zero.

Registrations open for the Sustainability Escape Room

Attendees will learn the eight topics every Accountant needs to know about Net Zero with the Escape Room. Working in small teams, visitors will have fun solving cryptic clues to figure out what the escape code is. This fast-paced, interactive game in the ‘mini Eden’ dome takes just 20 mins and is designed to boost carbon literacy in a fun and engaging way. No prior experience is necessary, every escapee will also win a sustainable prize.

Special guests Bird & Blend, a B Corp small business who passionately believe in Sustainabili-TEA will also be on hand to talk B Corp and serve a selection of their delicious loose leaf tea.
