New features at Accountex Summit Manchester: Sustainability Zone, Cyber Resilience Hub, MTD Hub and enhanced seminar audio

With Accountex Summit Manchester taking place in less than a month on 23 September, the anticipation from the accounting and finance community is building.

Alongside the 120+ software and service providers, CPD accredited seminar programme and networking opportunities, are some brand new features to keep visitors up to date with changes in the industry and improve their experience at the show.

Sustainability Zone, sponsored by Sage Earth

With ‘sustainability’ no longer a buzzword, attendees can visit the Sustainability Zone to get expert tips to kickstart their sustainability journey, dive into B Corp best practices, and test their Net Zero knowledge.

Cyber Resilience Hub in partnership with the North West Cyber Resilience Centre

On stand E1, visitors can see if they can outsmart a cyber threat by tackling the virtual escape room. The North West Cyber Resilience Centre team will be on hand to offer expert cybersecurity advice that fix risks fast.

Clear audio with the Olyusei App

Visitors will be able to connect directly to each theatre’s audio for an enhanced listening experience. After downloading the Olyusei App, they can pick up the event code and PIN when they arrive and easily switch between theatres. The original audio from the sessions will still be loud enough to hear without headphones but the app will make sure attendees don’t miss a thing.

MTD Hub with HMRC

Attendees can drop by the MTD Hub with HMRC to learn how to get their clients ready for the Making Tax Digital for Income Tax deadline next year. MTD representatives will signpost guidance to support these changes, provide details on when the changes will start for which customer groups and explain what agents can do to prepare.
