How did you get started?

FinQuery’s story began back in 2011 when George Azih, then a US Certified Public Accountant, had a simple idea: to make accountants’ lives easier with software.

He knew firsthand the challenges and the urgent need for efficient solutions for the upcoming lease accounting transition.

Not seeing a sufficient solution on the market, he built LeaseQuery, the first-ever lease accounting software developed by accountants, for accountants.

As time went on, LeaseQuery grew into FinQuery – serving more than 8500 global customers with solutions to account for leases, prepayments, and accruals, as well as contract management designed for accounting and finance teams.

FinQuery has helped thousands of organisations transition to and maintain compliance with the updated lease accounting standards and remains dedicated to our core mission of making accountants’ lives easier with software.
