AccountsIQ expands workforce 38% amid rising need for agile finance transformation

  • “Finance leaders are under pressure to act quickly but that can lead to choosing the wrong solutions” warns AccountsIQ CEO, Darren Cran
AccountsIQ is experiencing rapid growth as finance teams seek more scalable alternatives. The company today announced 38% year-on-year workforce growth, fuelled by rising demand for smart software automation and streamlined finance operations.
Building on a landmark period of investment and expansion, following the acquisition of UK-based ExpenseIn, the AccountsIQ Group has rapidly advanced its product and market footprint across both AccountsIQ and ExpenseIn brands. Key innovations for AccountsIQ include the Workflow Approval Engine, which eliminates bottlenecks, delivers real-time visibility and compliance oversight. The company also introduced a Non-Financial Metrics Tool, enabling CFOs to track sustainability, operational and other non-financial KPIs alongside traditional financial reporting for a true 360-degree view of organisational performance. ExpenseIn has also enhanced its product offering, introducing its smart business card designed to streamline and simplify expense management.
In line with these advancements, AccountsIQ jumped ten places to rank 17th in Deloitte Ireland’s Technology Fast 50, reinforcing its status as a high-growth innovator within its industry.
Scaling impact through collaboration
AccountsIQ has delivered measurable impact for customers across sectors. Organisations such as SCVO and OCN London have leveraged the platform to create connected finance ecosystems, improving operational efficiency and financial transparency.
Over the past year, AccountsIQ has expanded its ecosystem through strategic partnerships and sponsorships, including becoming the official Data and Insights partner for Harlequins Rugby. This follows wider activity designed to increase brand visibility and support communities, including its partnership with Triathlon Ireland.
Darren Cran, CEO at AccountsIQ, commented: “CFOs are being asked to move faster than ever, but many are still stuck with systems that hold them back. Our recent CFO Mindset research shows 94% of CFOs who have implemented ERP software now have regrets, it’s a clear sign that urgent transformation can lead to the wrong choices. We’re focused on freeing finance teams from the ‘ERP regret’ with a modern platform that scales with their needs. In 2026, we are looking to continue to evolve and refine what we offer to customers at both AccountsIQ and ExpenseIn, doubling down on AI and automation to help them make smarter, faster decisions and accelerate better business performance.”
