ACCOUNTEX, the leading event for professional firms, consultancies and companies, which has been held with great success in London since 2012, held its first event in Spain at the IFEMA MADRID Convention Centre

On 3 and 4 November the trade fair, which was jointly organised jointly by Diversified Communications and the Madrid trade fair institution, welcomed 3,200 professionals, who attended ACCOUNTEX ESPAÑA to discover the main challenges posed by the digitalisation of administrative and accounting processes.

A total of 80 exhibitors presented the main technological advances in the accountancy, business management and finance sector, while also offering a wide-ranging training programme and high-level content.

This first event revolved around three strategic areas that will affect not just professional firms but also SMEs in the very near future: relations with public authorities, business digitalisation and the rise of the customer-centric approach.

Cristina Claveria Visa, in charge of conferences and exhibitions at ACCOUNTEX ESPAÑA, stated that “the event has been a total success. Accountex is a unique opportunity for professionals to network and keep up-to-date with the new developments that affect a profession that is facing a paradigm shift. We have received enormous support from exhibitors and the public, who consider it vital for the sector to come together to hold a benchmark event of this scale.”

For her part, Ruth García, ACCOUNTEX ESPAÑA’s Commercial Manager, thanked all the participants – exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and visitors – for supporting this first edition. The event was magnificently supported in the sector, thanks to the work done in conjunction with Diversified Communications. She also noted that work was already underway for next year’s event, which will return to the IFEMA MADRID Convention Centre on 7 and 8 November 2023.
